PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The Target Completions T654 HS-4 Hydraulic Set Isolation production packer. The Hs-4 was designed as an isolation packer to be run above the Hs-1 double grip production packer for low pressure well zone isolation completions. The Hs-4 is an economical isolation tool design that uses the proven 3 element packer system.

OPERATION

Setting: Run packer to desired depth and pressure tubing string to the recommended set pressure and the packer will set shearing the setting shear pins, stroking the setting piston and packing off the element system. The Hs-4 packer sets without any tubing manipulation, so tubing can be flanged up at surface before setting of the Hs-4 packer. The setting shear screws are field adjustable.

Release: Straight pick up of the tubing string will shear the releasing shear screws and with further pickup release the packer from the casing. The release shear screws are field adjustable.
