Operation:

The T569 Model “K” Shear Safety Joint provides for emergency release of the tubing string. Straight pull seperates the tool at a predetermined shear value. The T569 Model “K” Shear Safety Joint allows torque to be transmitted through the tool wihtout affecting the shear screws.
