Product Description:
The Target Completions T669 Optima CT2-WS-ER 10K is a single bore permanent production packer that can be set on wireline, hydraulic set or mechanical set using the appropriate adapter kit and setting tool. Typically, the Optima CT2-WS is set on wireline using a e-line pressure setting tool in the wellbore, then latching the tubing string using the T-2 on/off tool and then removing any pressure control devices.
The Optima CT2-WS is ideally suited for high pressure and temperature applications due to the design of the tool with 340 degree slip contact area ensures slips do not damage casing and the 360 degree anti-extrusion rings minimize the extrusion gap for the packing element.
The Optima CT2 WS is available in 10K, 12.5k and 15K applications, upgraded with proprietary element system, premium thread connections and appropriate profile configurations.
Operation:
Setting: Assemble packer to appropriate wireline adapter kit and then install on e-line pressure setting tool and run into well bore, activate pressure setting tool and set packer at desired location. Recommended gauge ring and junk basket are recommended to ensure packer has unrestricted pipe internal diameter to setting depth.
Release: The Optima CT2-WS was designed to be milled over and pulled using a packer plucker, the design of the tool uses cast iron parts that are easily millable.
