PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The Target Completions T674 Optima HS In-line is a In-line tubing permanent production packer that can be set hydraulically on tubing. The Optima HS In-line is ideally suited for high pressure and temperature applications due to the design of the tool with 340 degree slip contact area insures
slips do not damage casing and the 360 degree anti-extrusion rings minimize the extrusion gap for the packing element.
The Optima HS In-line can be upgraded for low pressure setting but still retain the force required to pack-off HPHT element systems.
*The Optima HS In-line is available in HPHT applications, upgraded with proprietary element system and premium thread connections.
OPERATION
Setting: Run packer to desired depth, pressure up on tubing string to set packer at a pre-determined shear pin value and then remove any pressure control device below the packer.
Release: The Optima HS In-line was designed to be milled over and pulled using a packer plucker, the design of the tool uses cast iron parts that are easily millable, the inline version will require dis-connect of the tubing string via on/off tool (if run) or cutting of the tubing string.
