The Target Completions T780 Heat Retreivable Bridge Plug

is a wireline set tubing retrievable bridge plug. The Heat origins start with the H.E. and H.E.2 bridge plug family utilizing the basic bottom end of these tools because of their durability. The Heat Retrievable Bridge Plug has a new top end that allows the tool to be easily retrieved upgrading the design of the original tools. The Heat Bridge Plug design allows the plug to be modified to release with just about any retrieving tool or on off tool. The standard retrieving tool used is interchangeable with the WRP bridge plug. The Heat Bridge Plug is rated to 10,000 psi from above and below.

OPERATION

Setting: Identify proper wireline adapter kit, assembly kit to Retrievable bridge plug. Run to desired setting depth and activate appropriate e-line pressure setting tool and set the plug.

The plug is set and now will hold pressure from above or below.

Release: Straight set down of the tubing string will shear the bypass open screws allowing the Heat Bridge plug to pressure balance before pulling loose. Pick up tubing string opens a

secondary bypass increasing the bypass area over double, at this point the release sleeve is engaged and unlocks the lock nut housing allowing the elements to relax and slips to be pulled from the casing wall.
