Operation:

The Vector Anchor and the Vector Pack Packers are designed to be run in either open or cased hole multiple zone applications in either vertical or horizontal wells. Both packers are hydraulically set with an internal locking mechanism providing a positive and reliable long term set. The Vector Pack Packer incorportates a one piece bi-directional slip system in order to help prevent movement during higher pressure operations. Typically, on

multiple zone horizontal open hole applications the HydroPac would be used as the toe packer. Durable construction and reliability makes the Vector Pack Packer and the Vector Anchor excellent alternatives to using inflatable packers. The Vector Pack Packer and Vector Anchor are hydraulically set by applying differential pressure against a temporary/permanent plugging device in the tubing below the packer. The setting pressure can be adjusted through field accessible setting shear screws. Both packers have a straight pull shear release which can also be adjusted in the field.
